The process

Contract and Deposit

Both parties will complete a simple contract once specifications have been agreed. Following payment of an initial instalment, we will begin work.

An Architects Survey

Our professional architect works towards designing a precise plan to ensure a problem free process and a perfect result for you

Approvals

On your behalf we will share the designs with the local council if required for planning or for building controls. As soon as we receive an approval from the relevant authorities, the actual work begins. The approval takes about 2 months. If the work is carried out under permitted development then, with building notice, approval takes 2 to 3 weeks.

Party Wall Agreements

Party wall Awards/agreements with adjoining neighbors are a must to start the loft conversion. To make this hassle free for you, we carry out all the necessary steps to support you in every documentation work related to Party wall awards and submit the same to you. You can directly issue this agreement to your adjoining neighbors, before commencing work

Timelines and Follow Up

The entire process of loft conversion takes about 8 to 12 weeks. We ensure that the entire loft conversion process is completed within stipulated time and with British standards. For uninterrupted and timely progression, Manager keep constant on-site management of work in progress until completion.

It Ends With a Certification

We arrange for certified, private surveyor or council, who assess the newly built loft and certify the completion of the loft conversion process. They verify that your new loft is compliant with current regulations and issue you a completion certificate.
