We offer the whole package as detailed above for a fixed price of
Dormer Loft Conversions
Dormer loft conversions create a box like shape that completely replaces one of the slopes of the existing roof. This is a great choice and very popular amongst clients, as it means full sized windows can be added into the new space. As Dormers typically involve completely rebuilding one of the roof pitches, this means it will generally cost more than a rooflight or Velux conversion. We would generally suggest a price of between £35,000 and £55,000 for a typical dormer, whereas an L-Shaped dormer will need a corner built into it will will add more to the overall cost.
Hip to Gable Loft Conversions
Hip to Gable loft conversions are wonderful additions to any property with a roof terrace, and most homeowners feel very lucky to have one as there are many possibilities in creating more space for your home. If your home is part of a detached house, then you will have the option to create the loft conversion on either side of your property. Hip to Gable loft conversions means that the roof slope is completely replaced and a brick wall added with a dormer to make use of all available space. We would normally advise that such a loft conversion would be charged between £40,000 to £65,000 as a ballpark figure.
Mansard Loft Conversions
A typical Mansard loft conversion will be created with a flat roof space and could even add as much as an extra storey to your home, sat ontop of the existing building. Mansards will always require planning permission due to the scale of the project and as the overall outline of the property will change. Due to these additional elements a Mansard loft conversion is undoubtedly the most expensive option, but will always deliver the most amount of space for this kind of property. We would normally suggest a budget of between £50,000 to £70,000.
