Loftex is a West London loft conversion company founded and run by tradespeople. Over 18 years and 300+ completed projects, we've helped homeowners across Ealing, Chiswick, Acton, Wembley, Hanwell and Brent turn unused attic space into rooms they love.
I trained as a carpenter long before I ran a company — and carpentry is still about 80% of what a good loft conversion is. The rest I added along the way: roofing, joinery, plumbing, project and site management, and a CSCS Advanced (Gold) card to show for it.
Loftex started in 2008, born from a simple idea between two friends who believed London's lofts deserved better. I'd always loved the idea of transforming houses — taking a dusty, forgotten attic and turning it into the best room in the home. Eighteen years and more than 300 projects later, that's still what gets me on site every morning.
Two things haven't changed since day one. Our prices are published openly on this website — something very few loft companies in London are willing to do. And I'm personally on your project from the first survey to the final sign-off: our clients will tell you they dealt with me, not a call centre.

Loft conversions at Loftex are built by our own permanent crew — multi-skilled loft specialists who've worked together for years, plus our certified electrician. We don't hand your project to unknown subcontractors: the people you meet at the survey are the people who build your loft.
Our clients notice it, too — read any of our reviews and you'll see the same words come up again and again: punctual, tidy, polite, hard-working.

Free home visit & honest advice.
We come to you, measure the loft, and tell you honestly what's possible — including whether a conversion is worth it for your particular house. No obligation.
