Small Loft Conversions
Our Pricing
This is one of the questions we hear most often, and the answer is usually yes. Even lofts that look tight from below can often be converted — the key factors are the height at the ridge, the roof structure, and what you want to use the room for.
Typically this means either a smaller floor area, a Velux-only conversion (roof lights, no dormer extension), or a single small dormer rather than a full-width one. These are usually the fastest and most affordable type of conversion.
Even a modest loft conversion can work well as a home office, a single bedroom with an en-suite, a nursery, or a quiet study/reading room — it doesn't need to be a full master suite to add real value and daily use to your home.
Small, Velux-only conversions are generally the most affordable option — see our [Price Calculator →] for an estimate based on your property. Timelines are usually shorter than larger dormer or hip-to-gable projects too, often at the lower end of our typical 4–8 week range.
The only way to know what's possible in your specific loft is a free, no-obligation home visit — we'll measure the space and tell you honestly what will and won't work, even if that means telling you a bigger conversion isn't realistic for your roof.
